1 Injured in 5 Freeway Car Accident near Grapevine Road in Fort Tejon
Fort Tejon, California (October 23, 2023) – At least one person was injured in a car crash that happened in Fort Tejon on Monday morning.
The collision happened at around 11:25 a.m. on the southbound 5 Freeway near Grapevine Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A semi-truck and a Chevrolet Camaro were involved in the collision, but the events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
CHP reports that at least one person suffered major injuries, including a broken arm, in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
