1 Hurt in North Hills Accident on 405 Freeway
North Hills, California (June 7, 2023) – One person was hurt when a vehicle crashed down a 405 Freeway onramp and landed on a homeless encampment in North Hills on Wednesday morning, according to the authorities.
The incident took place near Roscoe Boulevard at around 12:15 a.m.
Authorities said a truck was traveling south on the freeway when it rolled over the ramp and ended up landing on the the encampment.
One person in the encampment was hospitalized with unspecified injuries.
Parties in the truck were trapped and were freed by emergency crews. None of them were hurt.
The CHP is investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
