Pima County, CA.- One person was hurt in a crash involving a Pima County Sheriff’s Department vehicle in Tucson on Tuesday morning, according to the authorities.
The wreck happened on Thornydale Road at Cortaro Farms Road.
Vehicles were yielding to a deputy enroute to a call when one driver failed to yield and collided with the department’s vehicle.
The driver was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The deputy was unhurt in the crash.
The collision led to the closure of the intersection as crews worked to clear the scene.
