1 Injured in Sacramento Car Accident on 5 Freeway near Garden Highway
Sacramento, California (October 27, 2023) – At least one person was injured in a Friday morning car traffic collision in South Sacramento.
At around 6:29 in the morning, the California Highway Patrol responded to a traffic accident on the southbound Interstate 5 Freeway near Garden Highway.
A gray sedan is reported to have been traveling at a high rate of speed before it crashed into at least two other vehicles.
CHP reports that one person was hurt in the crash and was transported to the hospital in unknown condition.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
