Bakersfield, CA.- One person was injured in a collision in Bakersfield on Thursday afternoon.
According to a report by the Bakersfield Police Department, the incident took place in the 900 block of Espee Street at around 4:42 p.m. October 9.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision and one of the drivers was pinned in the wreckage.
The Bakersfield Fire Department extricated the driver from their vehicle.
The driver was then rushed to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The other involved motorist was unhurt in the accident.
Impairment and speed were not believed to have played a role in the incident.
The Bakersfield Police Department is handling the investigation.
