A Mazda 3 and a 1992 Ford F-250 were involved on Avenue A and 5th Street
Yuma, AZ.- One person was injured in a crash involving two vehicles in Yuma on Monday afternoon, according to the Yuma Police Department.
The collision took place on Avenue A and 5th Street at around 12:14 p.m. January 13.
A Mazda 3 and a 1992 Ford F-250 were involved.
The driver of the Ford was flown to a Phoenix hospital with serious injuries.
The other driver fled the scene on foot but was located shortly after.
The suspect, identified as a 29-year-old man, was arrested on charges of DUI, reckless driving, and illegal possession of a weapon.
The incident is under investigation.
