1 Hospitalized After Sun Valley Accident on 5 Freeway and Sunland Boulevard
Sun Valley, California (August 20, 2023) – One person complained of hand pain and was transported to the hospital following a two-vehicle collision on Saturday afternoon in Sun Valley.
At around 4:47 p.m. on August 19, the California Highway Patrol officials received reports of a crash on the southbound 5 Freeway, just south of Sunland Boulevard.
Upon arrival, authorities found two cars at the crash site.
One individual was transported to Saint John’s Hospital after complaints of pain in their hand.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the scene.
All lanes were opened, and the roadway cleared as of 5:21 p.m.
The incident remains under investigation.
