San Jacinto, CA. – One person was hurt in a traffic accident involving a patrol vehicle that happened Monday afternoon at an intersection in San Jacinto.
The wreck took place around 3:45 p.m. at East Commonwealth Avenue and South Hewitt Street.
Authorities said a Riverside County Sheriff's patrol SUV collided with a Tesla sedan under unclear circumstances.
One driver sustained minor injuries. It was unclear if the injured person was a deputy or the driver of the sedan. It was also not mentioned if the patient was hospitalized.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
