A black Toyota Prius and a white Kia collided Wednesday afternoon at the California Avenue onramp to southbound Highway 99.
Bakersfield, CA. – One person was hospitalized after a traffic collision involving two cars that happened Wednesday afternoon in Bakersfield.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 2:24 p.m. on the California Avenue on-ramp to the southbound Highway 99.
CHP said the accident involved a black Toyota Prius and a white Kia.
A female occupant of the white Kia reported to authorities that she had chest and neck pain but said she did not need medical attention.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and evaluated the motorists.
One person was transported to Adventist Health Bakersfield with minor injuries.
CHP officers are investigating the collision.
