1 Critically Injured in Ontario Crash on 10 Freeway near Etiwanda Avenue

First responders used the Jaws of Life to rescue at least one motorist from a vehicle.

Ontario, CA. – One person was critically injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Monday morning in the Inland Empire.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 2 a.m. on the westbound 10 Freeway near Etiwanda Avenue.

A van and a car were involved in the collision. The collision resulted in a chain reaction crash involving four other cars. A pickup truck overturned and landed on its side.

First responders used the Jaws of Life to rescue at least one motorist from a vehicle.

One person was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
