1 Flown after Phelan Accident on Highway 138
Phelan, California (June 26, 2022) – One person was airlifted after a head-on collision that occurred on Sunday afternoon in Phelan, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A black Ford F-150 pickup truck and a red Ford F150 pickup truck were involved in the accident that happened at around 1:50 p.m. on Highway 138, nearly a mile from Interstate 15.
CHP said the red pickup lost control and collided head-on with the other pickup.
The driver of one of the pickups suffered injuries to his face and arms.
The driver was airlifted by Reach Air Medical #43 to Regional Medical Center.
An investigation to find out what led up to the crash is underway.
