Riverside County, CA – One person was sent to the hospital after a two-vehicle collision that left one of the cars overturned Friday afternoon in Woodcrest, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred around 4:50 p.m. on November 6, 2026, on eastbound Van Buren Boulevard near Mockingbird Canyon Road.
Authorities responded to the scene and found a Dodge pickup truck and a black sedan overturned onto its roof. One of the vehicles ended up off the roadway, requiring about 45-50 feet of fence to be cut to recover it.
A male occupant in the overturned vehicle was briefly trapped inside.
Responding paramedics transported one person to Riverside Community Hospital with the complaint of pain and possible internal injuries.
Both vehicles were towed away from the scene.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
