Woman, 65, Killed in Huntington Beach Accident at Edinger Avenue and Springdale Street

The Huntington Beach woman was taken to hospital where she later died.

Huntington Beach, CA. – A 65-year-old woman died after being struck by a car in Huntington Beach on Saturday night.

According to Huntington Beach Police Department, the accident happened around 10 p.m. at the intersection of Edinger Avenue and Springdale Street.

A silver Toyota 4Runner driven by a 25-year-old Midway City man was eastbound on Edinger when it struck the woman crossing the street.

The Huntington Beach woman was taken to hospital where she later died.

The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
