Livermore, CA – Minor Injuries Reported in Car Collision on Interstate 580

Livermore, CA – At least one person suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle collision that happened Wednesday afternoon in Livermore.

Authorities received reports of the crash around 4:28 p.m. on October 21, 2026, on eastbound Interstate 580 east of the North Livermore Avenue off-ramp.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a dark blue Mazda CX5 collided with a gray GMC truck that was reportedly pulling over on the right-hand shoulder. The vehicles were left blocking the Nos. 2 and 3 lanes.

Firefighters responded to the scene and offered medical aid to at least one person who sustained minor injuries.

Authorities are investigating to establish what transpired leading to the accident.
