Kerman, CA – E-Scooter Rider Killed in Crash on Madera Avenue and Whitesbridge Road

Officers responded to the crash at Madera Avenue and Whitesbridge Road at around 3 p.m. and found the scooter rider had been struck while crossing the intersection.

Kerman, CA – A person riding an electric mobility scooter was killed in a collision with a commercial vehicle at an intersection in Kerman on Monday afternoon, October 19, according to police.

Officers responded to the crash at Madera Avenue and Whitesbridge Road at around 3 p.m. and found the scooter rider had been struck while crossing the intersection.

The rider was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Authorities have not released the victim’s identity.

Investigators are working to determine what led to the fatal collision. Police cleared the scene at approximately 5:20 p.m., allowing vehicle and pedestrian traffic to resume.
