Roy Vogt Identified as Victim in Fatal Kerman Intersection Collision

Kerman, CA – Authorities have identified Roy Vogt, 85, of Kerman, as the man who died after a commercial vehicle struck his electric mobility scooter at an intersection in Kerman on Monday, October 19, 2026.

Vogt was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision at Madera Avenue and Whitesbridge Road, according to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash occurred at approximately 3 p.m. as Vogt was riding his electric mobility scooter across the intersection when he was struck by a commercial vehicle, according to the Kerman Police Department.

Authorities have not released further details about the circumstances of the collision.
