Woman Dies after Car Crashes into Modesto Home near Encina and Fortuna

All occupants of the car were injured in the accident and were rushed to the hospital

Modesto, CA. – A 67-year-old woman died after a vehicle crashed into her home on Thursday morning in Modesto.

According to the police, the accident happened around 9 a.m. near Encina Avenue and Fortuna Avenue.

A vehicle occupied by two adult women and a 12-year-old child veered off the highway and crashed into a home.

Kathleen Erickson was found beneath the debris and was taken to hospital, where she later died.

All occupants of the car were injured in the accident and were rushed to hospital.

Authorities believe the driver of the car suffered a medical emergency before the crash.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
