Police reported that Behlers was trying to walk across the roadway from the north side to the south when she was hit by a white 2017 Toyota Tacoma. Behlers was reportedly walking outside of the crosswalk when the accident happened.

Tucson, AZ – A pedestrian who was hit by a vehicle last week on Friday in Tucson was identified by the Tucson police.
Andrea Lynn Behlers, 52, was killed in the crash that took place at about 10:19 p.m. October 2, in the 7200 block of East Golf Links Road.
Police reported that Behlers was trying to walk across the roadway from the north side to the south when she was hit by a white 2017 Toyota Tacoma. Behlers was reportedly walking outside of the crosswalk when the accident happened.
The Tucson Fire Department responded to the scene and transported the victim to a hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators. According to TPD, impairment was not believed to have played a role in the incident.
The Tucson Police Department is still investigating the cause of the accident.
