Police officers and firefighters responded to the scene and located a white sedan and a silver sedan with major front-end damage, and a third car overturned.
Two people were pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other victims were taken to the hospital, reportedly in critical condition.

Palmdale, CA – One person was killed Sunday evening in a three-vehicle crash on 30th Street West in Palmdale, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Police were dispatched to the collision at approximately 7:46 p.m. on 30th Street West between Avenue N and Avenue N4.
Three vehicles were involved in the crash, and one of them overturned. The circumstances leading to the collision were not immediately available.
At least one person was killed in the crash. The victim’s identity had not been released.

30th Street West was placed under a hard closure between Avenue N and Avenue N4 while the crash was investigated and the vehicles were cleared from the roadway.
