Alameda County, CA – 17-year-old Trezur Williams died in a traffic collision involving a tractor-trailer that happened Friday afternoon in unincorporated Alameda County, the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office Coroner’s Bureau reported.

The wreck occurred around 12:04 p.m. on September 25, 2026, on Mountain House Road near West Grant Line Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, Williams was a passenger in a 2004 Honda Civic traveling northbound on Mountain House Road. The sedan collided broadside with a 2014 Freightliner Cascadia tractor hauling two end-dump trailers. The big rig was traveling southbound at the time of the crash.

Williams was ejected from the car, sustaining fatal injuries. Paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene.

Both drivers remained at the scene after the crash, but it was unclear if they were injured.

The fatal crash was reported at approximately 12:04 p.m. on Mountain House Road near Grant Line Road, south of the Mountain House and Grant Line junction.

CHP dispatch logs indicate the collision involved a dump truck and a gold sedan. The impact ejected the sedan’s female occupant. Responding crews found the woman on the roadside. The victim died from injuries sustained in the collision. Authorities had not released the person’s identity.

The circumstances leading to the crash have not been determined, and no information regarding injuries to the dump truck driver or any arrests was available.

The collision forced the closure of both directions of Mountain House Road, with northbound traffic later shut down as investigators processed the scene.

The Alameda County Coroner’s Office responded to the fatal crash, and an evidence tow was requested for the sedan.
