The DPS reported that 32-year-old Jordan Alexander Lee McMillan, of Tucson, was driving a gray Ford SUV eastbound in the westbound lanes of SR 86 when he crashed head-on with an oncoming black Chevrolet passenger vehicle.
Tucson, AZ – Authorities have released the identities of three people who were killed in a crash with a wrong-way driver west of Tucson on Sunday morning.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the wreck took place at about 3 a.m. September 13, on State Route 86 near milepost 159.
The DPS reported that 32-year-old Jordan Alexander Lee McMillan, of Tucson, was driving a gray Ford SUV eastbound in the westbound lanes of SR 86 when he crashed head-on with an oncoming black Chevrolet passenger vehicle.
McMillan was rushed to a hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The Chevrolet driver, Alfred Manuel, 47, and his passenger, Kayla Manuel, 34, both of Sells, were pronounced declared deceased at the scene.
Initial investigations show that impairment may have been a factor for the wrong-way driver, the DPS reported.
The collision remained under investigation.
