Los Angeles, CA – One Person Hospitalized After Car Collision on Normandie Avenue

Los Angeles, CA – One person was sent to the hospital after a traffic collision that happened early Sunday morning in Harbor City, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The incident occurred around 1:45 a.m. on September 13, 2026, in the 23625 block of Normandie Avenue near Oakheath Drive.

A white Ford Transit van and a gray sedan were involved in the collision, blocking the roadway.

Los Angeles firefighters responded to the scene and transported a passenger in one of the cars to the hospital with unknown injuries.

One of the drivers had allegedly been drinking prior to the crash. It was unclear if the motorist was arrested.

Authorities are investigating the collision.
