Whittier, CA – Several people were injured in a crash that caused at least one vehicle to roll over on Sunday night in Whittier, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The wreck happened in the area of Telegraph Road and Victoria Avenue just after 9 p.m. on August 23.
According to investigators, a van and a car were involved in the accident. The van rolled onto its side while the car flipped and came to a rest on its roof.
Firefighters responded to the scene and attended to several parties involved in the accident.
After evaluation, seven people were transported to hospitals for further treatment.
Five of the hospitalized patients had critical injuries while the other two had minor injuries.
Two other patients were treated for minor injuries at the scene and released.
Additional information about the collision was not immediately available. The wreck is under investigation.
