Los Angeles, CA. – Five people were injured in a crash involving a Los Angeles Fire Department ambulance on Wednesday afternoon in Boyle Heights.

According to authorities, the accident happened around 1:57 p.m. in the area of 327 S. Boyle Avenue.

A rescue ambulance and a sedan were involved in a crash. The events leading up to the accident were not released.
