The collision occurred at approximately 6:45 a.m. Sunday on the southbound freeway at the San Fernando Mission Boulevard off-ramp.

The crash involved two vehicles and two semi-trucks, with at least one vehicle overturning. Authorities did not immediately release details about how the collision occurred or the directions in which the vehicles were traveling.

At least one person was taken to Dignity Health-Northridge Hospital Medical Center for treatment. Information on the victim’s condition was not immediately available.
