Fresno County, CA – Five people were sent to the hospital after a traffic collision that happened Thursday morning at an intersection in Fresno County.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 6 a.m. on August 27, 2026, at Fowler and Elkhorn avenues.

Authorities reported that the driver of a minivan ran a stop sign at the intersection and collided with a cattle truck.

Five people inside the minivan were hospitalized with minor to moderate injuries.

The driver of the truck was not injured.
