Long Beach, CA — A man was killed and two women were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Pacific Coast Highway in Long Beach Saturday night, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

The collision occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m. Saturday in the 5700 block of Pacific Coast Highway near Bellflower Boulevard in the Alamitos Heights community of Long Beach.

According to the preliminary investigation, a vehicle traveling westbound on Pacific Coast Highway struck another vehicle that was exiting a shopping center.

A male adult was transported by fire personnel to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Two women were also taken to a hospital for treatment. Their conditions were not immediately available.

Authorities did not immediately release the identities of those involved. No arrests were reported in the information provided.

The fatal Long Beach crash remains under investigation by the Long Beach Police Department.
