Phelan, CA — A 47-year-old Victorville man was killed in a motorcycle crash on southbound Interstate 15 near Oak Hills Road in Phelan Friday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Subsequent CHP updates indicated that another vehicle reportedly swerved to avoid the crash, causing the motorcycle to also swerve before going into a truck. The rider, identified as 47-year-old Oscar Lopez of Victorville, was pronounced dead at the scene.
