Quincy, CA. – One person was killed in a collision involving logging trucks on Friday morning in Quincy.

According to the e California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 8:30 a.m. on Highway 70, three miles west of Rush Creek.

The driver of a loaded log truck was heading east when he drifted across the yellow line and collided with an unloaded log truck.

The loaded log truck proceeded to hit a rock wall while the second truck hit a guardrail.

The driver of the loaded log truck was pronounced dead at the scene.
