Fallbrook, CA – A motorcycle rider was taken to a hospital after being involved in a collision with a vehicle on Wednesday evening in Fallbrook.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at around 8:46 p.m. August 5, in the area of East Clemmens Lane and South Mission Road.
The CHP logs indicate that a white or gray four-door sedan was involved in the collision with a small Honda motorcycle.
CHP officers and crews with the North County Fire Protection District were immediately called to the scene.
Medics attended to the motorcyclist, who was then transferred to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Authorities described the victim as a 17-year-old boy but his name was not immediately released.
The involved driver was at the scene when the authorities arrived.
CHP reported that DUI was suspected to have played a role in the incident and the driver was arrested.
An investigation into the collision is still ongoing.
