39-year-old Theodora Wilson, 6-year-old Rose Valenzuela, and 6-year-old Felix Valenzuela, all residents of Victorville, died at the scene of the collision.

Apple Valley, CA – The San Bernardino Coroner’s Office identified the mother and two children who died in a traffic collision last week in Apple Valley.
39-year-old Theodora Wilson, 6-year-old Rose Valenzuela, and 6-year-old Felix Valenzuela, all residents of Victorville, died at the scene of the collision.
The broadside crash was reported around 11:40 p.m. on July 29, 2026, at Apple Valley Road and Yucca Loma Road.
According to authorities, the mother and the two juveniles were passengers in a 2024 Volkswagen Tiguan driven by a 42-year-old Victorville man, alongside another passenger.
The Volkswagen was traveling east on Yucca Loma Road when a 43-year-old Hesperia man driving a 2015 Dodge Caravan northbound on Apple Valley Road ran a red light at the intersection and broadsided the Volkswagen. The impact sent the Volkswagen into a 2019 Toyota Highlander traveling east on Yucca Loma.
Wilson and her children were pronounced dead at the scene.
The Volkswagen driver and the other passenger sustained serious injuries.
The driver of the Dodge was also hospitalized with major injuries.
The Toyota driver’s injuries were not considered serious.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing, and investigators are working to determine if drugs and/or alcohol played a role in the accident.

Apple Valley, CA – Two juveniles were among three people who were killed in a crash involving multiple vehicles at an intersection in Apple Valley on Wednesday night, according to the Apple Valley Fire Protection District.
The wreck happened at around 11:43 p.m. on July 29, in the area of Apple Valley Road and Yucca Loma Road.
Preliminary reports indicate that a silver minivan, a silver 2019 Toyota Highlander, and a white 2024 Volkswagen Tiguan were involved in the crash. Details on what may have led up to the crash were not immediately available.
According to the investigators, five ambulances responded to the scene for multiple parties involved in the accident.
Emergency crews confirmed that three people died of their injuries at the scene. The deceased parties were only identified as two minors and an adult woman.
Several other parties were injured in the collision and were taken to hospital by ambulance.
The intersection of Apple Valley Road and Yucca Loma Road was shut down for hours as authorities worked at the scene. No additional details were released.
The Apple Valley Police Department responded to the incident and is still investigating to determine the factors of the crash.
