According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, a Chevrolet Silverado crashed into the side of a Honda Civic at the intersection.
Hollister, CA – The San Benito County Coroner’s Office has identified the woman who was killed in a collision that happened near Hollister on Thursday afternoon.
Florali Idelia Gabriel-Carrillo, 22, of Hollister, was the victim of the crash that took place near Fairview Road and Comstock Road at around 3:51 p.m. on July 30.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, a Chevrolet Silverado crashed into the side of a Honda Civic at the intersection.
Gabriel-Carrillo was among four occupants of the Honda, who included two juveniles.
According to authorities, Gabriel-Carrillo was declared deceased at the scene.
Three patients were transported to a hospital with severe injuries.
Lanes were blocked near the intersection for several hours while authorities investigated and cleared the scene.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating to ascertain the factors of the accident.
