San Bernardino, CA. – 22-year-old Korrina Lopez has been identified as the woman who died in a car crash in Claremont on Friday, July 17.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened on Mount Baldy Road just north of Shinn Road at around 9 p.m.
A Toyota Tundra was traveling southbound at a high rate of speed when it drifted into the opposite lanes and collided head-on with an oncoming car.
Lopez, a preschool teacher at Alta Loma Christian School in Rancho Cucamonga, was taken to a local hospital where she later died.
Two other occupants in her vehicle suffered major injuries, while two others were treated for minor injuries.
The driver accused of causing the crash suffered minor injuries.
