Salyer, CA. – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a crash involving an empty logging truck in Salyer on Friday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 4:45 p.m. on Highway 299 near Campbell Ridge Road.
A white Dodge Dart was traveling eastbound when it crossed into the westbound lane and crashed into a Kenworth logging truck.
The driver of the sedan was injured and was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital for treatment.
