Investigations into the incident revealed that a pickup truck was trying to cross the highway at the intersection when it was hit by a Tesla that was headed north on the highway.

Franklin County, WA – Injuries were reported in a traffic collision that happened on US 395 in Franklin County on Wednesday morning, the Washington State Patrol reported.
At around 11:40 a.m. July 15, authorities responded to reports of a crash at the intersection of Crestloch Road.
Investigations into the incident revealed that a pickup truck was trying to cross the highway at the intersection when it was hit by a Tesla that was headed north on the highway.
The accident caused minor injuries to the involved pickup truck driver but the Tesla driver was not injured. The injured motorist was transported to a hospital for treatment.
A minor riding in one of the vehicles was reportedly taken to a hospital as a precaution.
US 395 was shut down at Crestloch Road for at least one hour as authorities worked to clear the scene.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation by the Washington State Patrol.
