Huntington Beach, CA. – A motorcyclist died in a collision in Huntington Beach on Saturday night.
According to the Huntington Beach Police Department, the accident happened near the intersection of Slater Avenue and Beach Boulevard.
A Harley-Davidson was traveling northbound when the rider lost control and hit the back of the Amazon truck.
The motorcyclist, a 22-year-old man from Costa Mesa, was taken to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Amazon truck driver, who was identified as a 27-year-old Santa Ana man, was unhurt.
More details on the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
