Phoenix, AZ – A man died in a Sunday morning multi-vehicle collision involving two semi-trucks that happened near an intersection in Phoenix, authorities reported.

According to the Phoenix Fire Department, the crash was reported around 11 a.m. on July 5, 2026, near 72nd Avenue and Buckeye Road.

Police officers and firefighters responded to the scene after receiving reports of the collision and found an SUV and two semi-trucks involved in the collision.

A man was trapped inside his vehicle, unresponsive. The victim was freed and pronounced dead at the scene.
