Glendale, AZ – A man was sent to the hospital with severe injuries after he was hit by a car early Monday morning near an intersection in Glendale.
According to the Glendale Police Department, the incident was reported around 2:30 a.m. on July 6, 2026, near 71st Avenue and Grand Avenue.
A man was reportedly crossing the street outside of a crosswalk when he was struck by a passing vehicle.
The pedestrian was hospitalized with serious injuries.
Investigators closed 71st Avenue in both directions as they worked the scene.
