According to California Highway Patrol logs, the accident transpired around 1:17 p.m. at Old Highway 395 and West Lilac Road.

A blue Chevrolet Tahoe and a black or gray Honda Civic were involved in a head-on crash.

Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene shortly after receiving reports of the accident.

At least one person suffered serious injuries in the collision. The patient was hospitalized in unknown condition.

Both cars were towed away from the scene with crash damage.
