Sonoma County, CA – Two people were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision that happened Friday morning at an intersection in Sonoma County, the California Highway Patrol reported.

Police officers, firefighters and paramedics responded to the area and found a white GMC pickup truck with a trailer, a white 4-door Jeep, a gray Honda Accord, and a white Ram 1500 involved in the accident. The vehicles were blocking the roadway.
A Sonoma County Fire ambulance transported one person to the hospital with a fractured neck sternum and abrasion to the left knee.
Another Sonoma County Fire ambulance transported a second patient to the hospital with the complaint of pain to the chest.
The GMC pickup truck and the Jeep were towed away with crash damage.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
