Sacramento, CA – The authorities have released the identity of a pedestrian who was hit and killed by a suspected DUI driver at an intersection in Arden-Arcade early Saturday morning.
The victim was identified as 56-year-old Willie Brown.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Brown was hit by a vehicle at about 12:14 a.m. on June 27, 2026, in the area of Watt Avenue and Kings Way.
The CHP said Brown was outside the crosswalk when he was struck by the vehicle.
The involved driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
