Modesto, CA. – A child was injured after being struck by a car in Modesto on Friday, according to the Modesto Police Department.
Modesto Fire Department personnel responded to the area of Kerr Avenue and found a child who had been struck by a car.
The child was alert and conscious and was airlifted to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver initially left the scene and was later located by the police. The driver has been cooperative with authorities.
The accident remains under investigation.
