Phoenix, AZ – A woman was severely injured in a crash involving multiple vehicles in Phoenix on Friday morning, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The incident happened at around 7:15 a.m. June 26, on Loop 101 near Cave Creek Road.
The AZDPS reported that a three-wheel motorcycle crashed into the rear of a pickup truck on the eastbound side of Loop 101. Details on what led up to the accident were not immediately released.
The impact of the collision caused the rider to fall off her tricycle.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene shortly after and the woman was transported to a hospital for treatment. The victim reportedly had serious injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
There were no reports of injuries to anyone else involved in the accident. The identities of the involved parties were not disclosed.
Authorities are still working to establish the exact circumstances of the accident.
