Beaverton, OR – A teenager was hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle on Wednesday morning in Beaverton, according to the Beaverton Police Department.

The collision took place at around 6:21 a.m. June 24, on Scholls Ferry Road at Southwest Loon Drive.

According to the report, a 15-year-old was hit by a vehicle driven by a juvenile on SW Scholls Ferry Road. The events leading up to the accident were yet to be established by the investigators.

Beaverton police and emergency crews arrived at the scene shortly after and attended to the involved parties.

The pedestrian was transported to a hospital and was listed in critical condition.

The driver, who was uninjured in the incident, stayed at the scene and was cooperative with the investigators.

SW Scholls Ferry Road was temporarily shut down at SW Loon Drive as authorities examined the scene.

The Beaverton Police Department is still working to find out the exact circumstances of the accident.
