Peoria, AZ – Two people were hospitalized after a collision that also left an intersection closed for about an hour Sunday evening in Peoria.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene after receiving reports of a two-vehicle collision.
Both drivers were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators closed the intersection for about an hour while they worked the scene. The intersection was reopened just after 7 p.m.
