Tacoma, WA – 28-year-old Artanian Shaw died after he was struck by a vehicle Monday evening in Tacoma, the Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office reported.
The pedestrian was involved in the crash around 5:28 p.m. on June 15, 2026, at the 400 block of South Tacoma Way.
Shaw was hit by a car under unclear circumstances, dying at the scene.
The medical examiner’s office said he died from multiple blunt-force injuries. His manner of death was ruled an accident.
The driver involved stopped and remained at the scene after the collision.
The Tacoma Police Department is investigating the accident.
