The wreck occurred around 11:30 a.m. on northbound Highway 195 about two miles north of the town.

Pullman, WA – 42-year-old Alan J. Larkin from Clarkston died when his vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with another car Friday morning near Pullman, the Washington State Patrol reported.
The wreck occurred around 11:30 a.m. on June 19, 2026, on northbound Highway 195 about two miles north of the town.
According to authorities, just before the crash, Larkin was driving a 2016 Nissan Versa southbound on Highway 195. Troopers said for an unknown reason, the driver veered into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a northbound 2019 Ford Escape.
Larkin was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Ford, identified as 47-year-old Chana L. Holt from Pullman, was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
Authorities said both driver were wearing their seat belts and were the only occupants in the cars.
According to investigators, drugs and alcohol are not believed to be factors.
