Tracy, CA. – A 66-year-old man died after being hit by a vehicle on Tuesday morning in Tracy.
According to the Tracy Police Department, the accident happened on West Grant Line Road near Buthmann Avenue at around 5:21 a.m.
A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in unclear circumstances. The man was found with major injuries on the roadway.
Paramedics transported the man to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
It was not clear whether speed or impairment was a factor.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
