Manhattan Beach, CA – A woman doing her laundry died after an SUV slammed into a laundromat Tuesday evening on Aviation Boulevard in Manhattan Beach, authorities reported.
According to the Manhattan Beach Police Department, the incident transpired just after 6 p.m. on June 9, 2026, in the 900 block of Aviation Boulevard.
Police said a woman was doing her laundry at Suds and Duds Coin-Op Laundry, located on the block, when a black SUV driven by a woman slammed through the front of the laundromat.
The woman inside the laundromat died in the accident.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured and cooperated with investigators.
Authorities are investigating to establish the factors that contributed to the accident.
