According to investigators, Oscar Pena Estrada, 21, also of Cambria, was driving a gray Ford Mustang on Highway 46 West when he drifted into the path of oncoming traffic and crashed head-on with a white Ram 2500 towing a camping trailer.

San Luis Obispo County, CA – The man who was killed in a collision between two vehicles in San Luis Obispo County on Sunday morning has been identified by the California Highway Patrol.
Cesar Pena Estrada, 29, of Cambria, was the victim of the accident that occurred on Highway 46 West on Sunday, June 7.
According to investigators, Oscar Pena Estrada, 21, also of Cambria, was driving a gray Ford Mustang on Highway 46 West when he drifted into the path of oncoming traffic and crashed head-on with a white Ram 2500 towing a camping trailer.
Cesar was a passenger in the Ford at the time of the collision. He was declared deceased at the scene.
Oscar sustained major injuries and was taken to Adventist Health Sierra Vista Hospital for treatment. He was later arrested on suspicion of DUI following the accident.
The driver of the Ram, Dean Carl Voigt, 62, of Ellisville, Missouri, and his passenger were both treated for minor injuries.
The California Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation to establish the cause of the collision.
